The Spardha's Journey
18 December 2002
The Beginning
Spardha Prakashan was established on 18 December 2002 in Jamshedpur.
It began its journey with the launch of its first monthly magazine, Spardha , for JPSC and other competitive examinations.
● Supporting local talent and expanding into children’s publishing.
● Growing presence at major regional book fairs.
● A Spardha title becomes a student bestseller.
2003
Expanding Knowledge
Launched Spardha Samsaamyiki Evam Samanya Gyan, a monthly magazine focused on Current Affairs and General Knowledge .
2004
Spardha Gyan Andolan
● Participated in the New Delhi World Book Fair.
● Under Spardha Gyan Andolan , a library was established at Bango village, Potka Block and, Kalapathar village of Ghatsila Prakhand.
● Spardha also organised career counselling programmes, educational seminars and a rainwater-harvesting workshop .
2005
Our Own Printing Facility
Established an in-house printing facility at the Sakchi office, Jamshedpur, strengthening Spardha’s publishing and production capabilities.
2006
Strengthening Jharkhand-Focused Publishing
Expanded competitive-examination publishing with important titles such as Jharkhand Update and Samanya Vigyan , strengthening Spardha’s focus on Jharkhand-specific knowledge.
2007
From Publishing to Coaching
- Launched English Test Made Easy at the Jamshedpur Book Fair.
- Spardha Prakashan also established its coaching institute, Spardha Academy of Excellence, which Dr. Nitin Madan Kulkarni, IAS, inaugurated.
- This marked Spardha’s expansion from publishing into classroom education and student mentorship.
2014
A Permanent Home
● Spardha Prakashan shifted its office and printing press to its own premises in Kadma, Jamshedpur, marking an important milestone in its journey.
● Spardha Prakashan encouraged young Jamshedpur artist Suman Prasad and published her two cartoon books—My Funny Cartoon Friends and My Latest Cartoon Friends.
2015
Expanding Academic Publishing
● Expanded into school-level books, question banks, competitive-examination material, and children’s publications, reaching a wider group of learners.
● A board examination feature mentioned Spardha’s LAC Class10 guess papers, Jharkhand Today and Question bank.
2021
Entering Digital Education
Launched the official Spardha Prakashan YouTube Channel, taking educational content and exam guidance beyond the physical classroom.
2023
Strengthening the Jharkhand Legacy
- Spardha Prakashan’s director was invited as a distinguished guest at the Swadeshi Mela quiz competition in Jamshedpur.
- Further strengthened its specialised Jharkhand publication segment with books such as Sampurna Jharkhand , continuing Spardha’s commitment to quality regional study material.
2024
A Growing Learning Community
Continued expanding its reach through books, competitive-examination resources, digital content and student mentorship, connecting with a new generation of aspirants.
2025
Spardha Learning Platform
Entered a new phase of digital education with the launch of the Spardha Learning Platform.
The platform brought together:
Online Classes • Test Series • eBooks • Daily Quizzes • Assessments • Current Affairs • Study Material • Mentorship
Spardha evolved from a traditional publishing house into an integrated print-and-digital learning platform.
2026
Moving Towards the Future
